Since 1994 the Moon Lake Riparians have established the following guidelines for recreational use of the lake. Your cooperation is the only means of enforcement.
- Persons using the lake should observe water safety rules at all times.
- All Michigan water safety laws are in effect.
- High speed use of power boats, waterski boats, jet skis, etc. shall be limited to the hours of 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
- Fast moving watercraft shall at no time be closer than 100 feet of swimmers, fishing boats, watercraft or shorelines.
- Special care must be taken to operate power craft in a responsible manner so as to protect loons and other waterfowl on the lake.
