In October it was reported that eight Splake were caught and released by lake residents. All were approximately 11″ long.
Tom Wheeler and Bob Turnquist have refurbished the Loon Platform. The old platform was disassembled and the PVC Pipe frame was saved for the new platform. New foam was fitted and plastic snow fencing was wrapped around the PVC Pipe frame to retain the foam. Two of the smaller plants from the old platform were used on the new platform. Two small clumps of Alder Brush and new soil were added to complete the new platform. The new platform will be anchored in the bay in the spring.
