At 5:30 this morning we heard loon calls for the first time this year so started looking for loons as it got light. At 7:40 AM we saw 2 loons calmly swimming up the lake. They were pretty far apart but appeared very calm. Later, we saw them close together, diving so we hope this is the resident pair. Only time will tell.
