We are continuing to get lots of rain. Since ice off this spring the lake level is up over 10 inches. We had some great rainbows during the periods of sun following a rain event. See pics below.
Dave Peterson sent a couple of great shots of the loons taken on the afternoon of May 29. See below. The loons have been sitting on the nest since May 4. I just checked to see if they were being bothered by the Loon Black Flies yet. To my surprise I saw a chick on the platform with the parent who is apparently still sitting on the second egg.
