around the lake

The lake was completely frozen over on November 27; however, today, December 5, finds significant areas of the lake with open water.

The latest newsletter  is now posted on the website.  Many thanks to our new editors, Steve and Carleen Sunderland who did an outstanding job.  Please communicate with them regarding your thoughts about the new newsletter and with ideas for future editions.

Fall color was slow in coming this year and now we are just past peak, nearly two weeks late.  Color was not brilliant this year but still nice. For those of you who have not been looking at our webcam I have included a frame capture from last evening.

The minutes from our annual meeting have been posted on the website as have an updated list of officers and board members. We are currently working on a mount for the Loon Cam so that we can easily move the camera to the Loon Platform in the spring.
