With temperatures in or around the teens and some snow almost every day for the last week things are looking like winter.  Sure hate being stuck here on Moon Lake.

Frank Kuchevar determines the official “Ice On” date for Moon Lake.  This year it is Saturday, Nov 27.   Unfortunately warm weather on Sunday through Tuesday opened the lake again.  20 degree temperatures on Tuesday Night/Wednesday morning resulted in reforming the ice.  With continued below freezing temperatures predicted, we should have ice for the year.
